Drive pintles are meant to go deep into a heavy post and bear much of the weight of the large door or gate. We offer drive pintles or wood screw and machine thread pintles for use with traditional post and beam, or see our leaf pintles for conventional board construction.
Our 5” drive pintle has a 3/8” diameter pin and is used on our 16" Strap Hinges.
7" drive pintle has a 1/2” diameter pin and used on the 24" and 34" Strap Hinges.
